Why start a Blog?
You are probably wondering why I would want to start a blog. Let me share with you why...I'm bored out of my mind...lol! Like many people around the world right now I am adjusting to a new normal. I am an educator in every sense of the word. I love researching, studying, and finding the best way to reach my students. However, I have been uprooted and thrown into a new paradigm. This shift has caused me to realize that I can I only fill my time with so many mindless hours of netflix, organizing and reorganizing my pantry, and yard work...yes stinking yard work has become a new hobby. At some point a girl needs a break! I have always wanted to start a blog, not necessarily for other people, but for myself. You see my husband and I love to cook.
It bring us so much joy to try new recipes, put together dishes, and experience new foods. We also love to travel together. We have been on so many adventures and we just can't seem to get enough. I figure a blog is a way for me to keep track of all of these experiences we share together. A way to look back on the life we are building. The title of my blog is "Falling in Love with Life" because every day is an opportunity to fall in love with life, whether it be by trying a new dish for dinner or flying to Australia. Each day presents a unique way for us to find joy...we just have to be willing to search. So, I invite you on this journey with me. Let's figure out this new normal together...exploring food, dreaming about travel, and hopely finding bliss.
Peace, Love, and Tacos.
